In 1990 7th heaven released "The Time Has Come", which was the first time the band released any original music offically to the public. Consisting of: Time Time Has Come, Love Is In Our Hearts, Take Me To Your Heart, Over The Edge, Don't Say Goodbye and Nobody's Perefect

"The Time Has Come" was recorded at Studio 53 in Palatine, IL
High School friend Fred Bartoli air-brushed the cover and Dan Machnik took the band's photo.

The CD Release party for "The Time Has Come' was held at Popular Creek Sports Complex, a show which was ran by Richard Hofherr & Chris Senior and was their first time as a concert promoter. Advertising was in magazines and heard on radio. The show featured numerous bands and sold over 3,000 tickets.
7th heaven feautred on WVVX radio 103.1fm Chicago during this time. 7th heaven was also seen on the Chicago Rocker magazine mutiple times during this era.
This was also a year where Richie & Tony started writing a lot of songs together.
In the winter of 1990 Tony developed pollips on his throat and was advised by doctors to take it easy on singing and take a break from performing. Tony has the pollips removed and a winter break is what the band did.
